Benelli reliability
Posted by Brian

In response to Pat's question about reliability, I have owned a Super Black Eagle for five years and have never had a problem with it through all types of weather while waterfowling and shooting sporting clays. Under some extensive shooting at snow geese a couple years ago in very cold and dusty conditions, it started to eject shells slowly because I failed to keep the action lubricated. (I was used to the the 1100 which were best left "dry".) Other than my mistake, which a couple drops of oil corrected, never a problem and a smoother actioned shotgun you will never find!
